Privacy Policy

Information we collect

When you submit our consultation-request form, we collect the information you provide:

When you submit the form, we also automatically record your IP address, browser information, and a timestamp. We use these to record your consent choices and to help prevent spam and abuse.

When you interact with Tyler Prosthetics on social media, we may process Facebook and Instagram comments and private messages, the platform account identifier and name associated with the interaction, related post or thread identifiers, and timestamps. This information originates on Meta's platforms and is available to us through Tyler Prosthetics' connected business accounts.

How we use your information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use comment or private-message content for advertising audiences, and we do not send social comment or private-message content to a general-purpose AI model.

Text messages (SMS)

How we share information

We share information only with service providers that help us operate this website, secure our connected marketing workspace, and respond to you — such as Meta, website hosting, protected cloud storage, database, email delivery, and text-messaging providers — and only as needed to perform those services on our behalf. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of others. We do not sell your information.

A note about health information

The consultation-request form collects contact and scheduling information only. We will gather health information securely during your consultation. Please do not submit detailed medical history or sensitive health information through a public comment or private social message. Health information that Tyler Prosthetics maintains as your healthcare provider is protected under separate laws, including HIPAA, and is governed by our Notice of Privacy Practices, which is available from our office.

Data retention

We retain consultation-request information for as long as needed to respond to your request and coordinate your care, and otherwise in accordance with our records practices and applicable law. You may request deletion (see Your choices and rights).

Protected social-interaction content stored in our marketing workspace is retained for no more than 30 days after receipt, then explicitly deleted. Content-free security and audit records may remain as needed to document system actions, and copies held by Facebook or Instagram remain subject to those platforms' controls and retention practices.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls that limit who can view submissions. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.

Advertising measurement, cookies, and tracking

When you arrive through Tyler Prosthetics' Facebook campaign link, we may store a first-party campaign source and Meta ad-click identifier in a signed, essential cookie for up to 180 days. If you later submit a consultation request, we use that information to show our authorized staff that the request came from the campaign. We do not use the Meta Pixel or Conversions API, and we do not send consultation-form submissions back to Meta.

We use essential technologies to operate and secure the website. When our advertising program is enabled, we may also use limited Google Ads conversion measurement to count phone calls and successful consultation requests. This measurement does not send your consultation-form fields, name, or contact details to Google, and advertising personalization is disabled. The Google tag does not load until you choose to allow measurement. If you choose “Not now,” you can reopen Privacy choices later.

Google's tag may process browser or device information, IP address, page URL, ad-click identifiers, and cookies according to the tag configuration and your browser or consent settings. We do not use enhanced conversions, customer lists, or form contents for this measurement.

Children’s privacy

Our prosthetic services include care for children. Information about a minor should be submitted only by a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through this website.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to opt out of the sale of personal information or targeted advertising. We do not sell your personal information or use form or social-interaction content to build advertising audiences. To make a request, contact us using the information below, and we will respond as required by law. If your request concerns Facebook or Instagram data, see our social-data deletion instructions.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above.
